I am a published freelance art model and multimedia artist. I have been modeling professionally for about eight years and making art in some form (mostly painting) for most of my life.
Physical
I am petite (5’2”), fit, and athletic. Challenging, athletic poses are my favorite!, I love experimenting with dynamic poses that require athleticism.
I have heterochromia (my eyes are two different colors, one very dark brown and one hazel green).
I have very thick, versatile, workable hair that can be easily straightened or made crazy, voluminous and curly. It has a bit of a curl naturally and is quite dark brown (though nowhere near black) with subtle natural highlights. It is below waist length now.
I have several holes in each of my ears (including tragus) but most are not visible. The lobes of my ears are stretched to about a 0, maybe smaller now. They used to be much larger and can be hidden easily by regular earrings that are large enough to cover the hole. This is what I normally do, but if you’re looking for someone with stretched ears, I do have them. I also have my philtrum (indentation above upper lip) pierced with a very small, subtle opalescent stone. I have a tattoo on my upper left arm of two wolves biting each other’s faces. It’s based on a drawing by the artist Lisa Iglesias.
Creatively
I want to create images that tell a story. I want to help create work I’d want to photograph myself. I enjoy all the aspects of the process: concept, makeup, styling, and editing. I love colors! If color is important in your project, send me a message! (I love black and white photography as well, but I’m the kind of person who is made happier just by gazing upon pleasant color combinations….)
I model for and am comfortable in many genres (including fitness, fashion, and hair modeling), but the majority of my work is modeling for art photography, as well as life drawing/painting, and other visual arts. I model for individual artists, as well as for classes/workshops/groups. Please ask if you’d like to see my figure modeling resume and references.
I also have experience on the other side of the paintbrush/pencil/pastel/camera, etc., and a background in improv, standup comedy, writing, and acting. I find my creative outlet most often in the creation of conceptual paintings based around self-portraits and the human form, and in self-portrait photography.
