What does NINPAH stand for?

NiNPAH stands for “Nude in Nature Photo Art Haven” and was created by Stan Goldstein to give photographers and models a private open space to work together to create artistic nude and glamour photography without distractions.

How long has NiNPAH been In existence?

Our NiNPAH Ramblewood events started in 2012, and events followed in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. NiNPAH is an offshoot of Stan Goldstein’s NiN (Nude in Nature) events, which began around 2009 in Montgomery County, MD.

How old are the models?

Most are young, from 18 to 28, the oldest model was around 50.

Are all the models female?

Most of the models are female, we occasionally have male models.

Do you vet both models & photographers?

We require models to provide proof of age & sign 2257 forms (supplied). We always require the models to submit pictures, but we can’t be sure who the pictures are of. We usually ask models for references from photographers. We ask photographers about models they have worked with. We have a list of banned individuals. There is no formal investigation.

How many photographers return year after year?

Many, perhaps half or three-quarters, we have not counted.

Are there model releases?

Yes, all modeling sessions include our broad, commercial model release, and a form 2257 Model’s Age Certification, included as part of the price.

Can I get a certificate stating I attended NINPAH?

No one has ever asked for one, do you want a certificate?

What should the photographers bring to wear?

Photographers wear whatever they like, but they must NOT be nude.

What should I bring with me?

All attendees must bring their photo ID and their printed ticket to enter the site.

Photographers should bring their Camera gear, clothing for 1 to 3 days, any medications they will need, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, and possibly rainwear. If you decide to stay at the camp, you will also need bed linen (twin-sized sheets a light blanket, and a pillow) and a towel, and anything you would bring with you on any trip. Be sure you have sufficient batteries (if you bring a flash) and cards (SD, etc.) for your camera(s), also do not forget your camera battery and phone chargers. If you plan on using your credit card you might want to inform your bank that there will be charges from Maryland.

Models should bring their makeup, and clothing for 3 days (when not working, lose fitting as to not leave marks).  Any medications you will need, sunscreen, a hat, and possibly rainwear. If you decide to stay at the camp, you will also need bed linen (twin-sized sheets a light blanket, and a pillow) and a towel. Some suitable modeling wardrobe and underwear, and you might want a robe. And anything you would bring with you on any trip. Also, do not forget your cell phone chargers. If you plan on using your credit card you might want to inform your bank that there will be charges from Maryland.

What are the nudity laws in Maryland?

NiNPAH takes place on 160 acres of secluded PRIVATE property! Please stay on-site if nude!

Where is Camp Ramblewood?

Camp Ramblewood is on the outskirts of Darlington, Maryland.

The nearest “real” landmark is I-95 exit 89 Location Link (Maryland). It is about 9½ miles from there (a 15-minute drive). That is the exit for Havre De Grace, MDLocation Link
The nearest public transportation is at the train station in Aberdeen, MDLocation Link.0
You will need to arrange your own ground transportation from the Train Station to Ramblewood. Options include Uber (approx. $25.00* and up), ABC Taxi (410) 272-0272 (approx. $20.00* one way), or other services.

What is the history of Camp Ramblewood?

It was originally a farm. The large white house dates back to around 1835. It has been a camp for a long time. It was a stop on the underground railway. Visit the Camp Ramblewood page for more.

Is there food available?

If you decide to eat at the camp, meals are served in the dining hall overlooking the pools.

Yes, refrigerator space will be provided. It’s a good idea if you are particularly particular about your food.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

If you decide to stay at the camp, you will sleep in group cabins, The cabins are completely self-contained buildings with sinks, showers, toilets, mattresses, and box springs. You will need to bring your own linen (twin-sized sheets a light blanket and a pillow). Please bring towels.

How is the Cell service at the camp & are there phones available? Internet?

 There is cell service in the central sections of the campgrounds. Toward the edges, little or none. There are no payphones.
There is wifi available throughout the camp for a minor fee.

There is NO public transportation to Ramblewood. There is a Rail service to Aberdeen, MDLocation Link &
